Why I started this blog

I love trying new recipes. But I do NOT love scrolling through endless BS stories about how the person found the recipe, what the person is reminded of when they make it, and a thousand other side tangents that have exactly nothing to do with the recipe itself. It makes me crazy! After chatting with many friends, it is clear this is a common pet peeve. We just. want. the recipe. Don't get me wrong--I can BS with the best of them, and sometimes I love reading all of the details. But I would prefer the details to be optional, not a maddening overabundance of words I have to slog through to get to the actual recipe. I finally decided the best way to solve this problem was to create my own blog. I have no idea how often I will update it, as life is kind of crazy right now. But I'm going to give it a go! I hope someone else finds it helpful. Thanks for checking it out!
